Larry Skelton, SE, PE, SE

Larry has over 20 years structural engineering experience. He has been with Axiom since its inception and became a Principal in 2017. Larry specializes in large, complex, steel and concrete structures that have compressed schedules. In addition, as Team Manager he leads the urban housing team with a focus on alternative delivery projects. Over his career, Larry’s fast tracked and notable projects have included the 50 story Westgate Tower at Planet Hollywood, Terrible Herbst Casino and Garage Expansion and Mandalay Bay Tower Suite Addition.

Having always enjoyed building things, Larry first decided to pursue Architecture. Soon into his academic career a structures course helped me realize that his real calling was in the skeleton that holds the buildings up. His favorite aspect of his role at Axiom it tackling problems for others from scheduling and budget issues to issues that require a creative engineering solution.
